O. Stephen Montagnet III

Steve earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame in 1992 and graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1995. While in law school, Steve served as an officer of the Mississippi Law Journal and a member of the Moot Court Board.

Following law school, Steve practiced for several years with the Jackson, Mississippi office of Lake Tindall, LLP, before founding the predecessor firm of McCraney Montagnet Quin & Noble PLLC.

Steve focuses his practice on the representation of businesses and individuals in a broad range of litigation, including banking, commercial business disputes, debt collection and credit practices, insurance, labor and employment, mass tort, product liability and real estate disputes.

Steve has tried numerous cases in state and federal court, and has represented clients before the Mississippi Court of Appeals, the Mississippi Supreme Court and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Steve was selected by Thompson Reuters for inclusion in the 2010-2014 editions of Mid-South Super Lawyers®, which is an honor reserved for only 5% of the lawyers in the State of Mississippi. Steve was also selected for inclusion in the 2013-15 volumes of The Best Lawyers in America® in a host of practice areas.

Steve is a past President of the Jackson Young Lawyers Association and has served on the Board of Directors of the Hinds County Bar Association.
