The Clarion Ledger
Jackson, Mississippi
Op-Ed (2008)
In this Clarion Ledger pro/con guest column, Billy Quin argues the Attorney General's ability to hire private attorneys to prosecute civil litigation on behalf of the State should not be restricted by certain proposed legislation.
State Senator Joey Fillingane argued in favor of the litigation. Following the publication of the pro/con guest column, the proposed legislation died in the Mississippi legislature.
